A Fall Engagement Session in Avalon Park

I have known Anthony since I was a little girl. Growing up in a big family and a small neighborhood you usually get to know everyone and their families.

Anthony is a childhood friend of my old brother and cousin. It was his house that I used to fight with my brother, who is five years older than me, to take me to play with everyone. Of course what 15 year old boy wants his 10 year old sister tagging along with him and his friends, but I got my way. We would all run the neighborhood at night playing manhunt. I used to think I was so good at hiding in that game. I realize now that maybe they were just being boys and I was the annoying younger sister no one really looked for.

But hey, in my mind I am still a great hider!

When Amanda came into his life, she fit right into the crowd. Amanda and Anthony have spent over five years together when they finally decided to tie the knot!

It was important for Amanda to have a fall theme for their engagement session. Although it actually snowed two days before, we lucked out with the warmer weather melting the snow and we were able to find the few leaves that were left on the trees. Even though most of their session was overcast, they trusted my craziness when I yelled, “Wait the sun is going to make an appearance I can see it, quick turn this way we might only have 30 seconds." That was literally the only time we had to photograph their glowy golden-hour shots, but we did it on rapid fire mode. I know winter sessions in New York can be difficult, but they did great sticking it out with me.

I know this is something Amanda has been planning and looking forward to for years! After knowing them for so long, it means so much that I was the one who was able to capture your joy and love for one another as you start this new journey in life together.

Congratulations on your engagement! Enjoy every second of wedding planning, because although at times is seems stressful, it goes fast and you will cherish the moments forever.

You are both going to make a beautiful bride and groom.

Good Luck to the future Mr. and Mrs. Cosenza.
